Behemoth (PL) @ Arena, Roskilde Festival 2012

A fantastic concert, absolutely the best gig of this years festival.

Great light for shooting, but since Arena is a bigger stage, and I have to shoot from the crowd, I had less flexibility with composition. Quite a lot of good shots that I really like from this gig, so I had some problems trimming them down. So to celebrate the last gig from Roskilde I'll be posting, here's a double dose of Behemoth!

Mutiny on the Bounty (Lux) @ Pavillion, Roskilde Festival

Very awesome band from Luxemburg, one of the few highlights of the festival!

The stage was bathed in monochrome blue LED lights like 90% of the time, making a huge part of the shots unusable, so I have limited content for this one.

Baroness (US) @ Odeon, Roskilde Festival

Very good Progressive/Sludge Metal, with wonderful instrumental pieces.

A lot of blue wash lighting, but towards the end, a nice bit of white lights, for some great shots.

Deathcrush (NO) @ Pavillion Junior, Roskilde Festival

Two cute girls shredding some brutal metal with quite the sex appeal. Not bad at all.

The lightning techs decided to change to mainly red wash this time, and the band gathered quite the crowd, which limited the number of decent shooting spots.

Cerekloth @ Pavillion Junior, Roskilde Festival

Very awesome Death Metal, that, without any trouble, had the crowd going with moshpits and the likes.

The stage techs still loved using the Blue Wash of Death a lot of the time, making some otherwise good shots unusable. But all in all, a great gig!
